Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada
- Full-time and part-time courses (Monday-Friday, Evenings, and Saturdays) with classes beginning at any time
- Levels from Beginner to CLB 5
- FREE Childminding for children 19 months - 6 years
- TTC tokens available for eligible students
- Computer- assisted language learning (CALL)
- Learn about Canadian culture, history, geography
- Practical English and communication skills for everyday life conversations
- Meet new people and make new friends
Who can apply?
- Permanent Residents or Convention Refugees
- Must be 18 years of age or over
- Must have completed an English language assessment at an approved centre. If you have not completed placement to determine your level, please contact the YMCA Language Assessment and Referral Centre at 416-925-5462.
